Nature Study Trail Walk

Join us for a step back in time and a guided walk along the Waratah Nature Study Trail at Wirrimbirra Sanctuary, Bargo.

There are three Nature Study Trails at Wirrimbirra. Each one provides an opportunity for participants to engage in different aspects of nature studies in the conservation area of native Bargo Brush.

This walk follows Nature Study Trail no.2 – The Waratah Trail. The 3 km walk descends from the Bargo Plateau, along the fern lined Wirrimbirra Creek, past the Big Pool, demonstrating aspects of creek formation, effect of temperature change and variation in plant adaption.

Follow the footsteps of thousands of children who learned about nature and the environment, on these study trails at Wirrimbirra.
